Step #01

Contact and quotation

Getting started is straightforward. Once you get in touch, we will ask a few key questions about the issue, the property and any previous work that has been carried out. This helps us understand whether drainage is likely to be the cause.

For most standard domestic properties, we can provide a clear quotation for a drain investigation over the phone. Where additional time or complexity is expected, we will explain this upfront so you know exactly what to expect.

Our aim is to give you a clear starting point with no confusion. If we believe an investigation will add value, we will recommend it. If not, we will be honest and guide you accordingly.

Step #02

On-site investigation

Once an appointment is arranged, we attend the property to carry out a targeted drainage investigation focused on identifying rodent ingress. All relevant areas of the system are assessed where accessible.

Using CCTV equipment, we inspect the drainage system in detail, paying particular attention to defects, breaks or conditions that may allow rats to enter or exit the pipework.

Findings are explained clearly on site, so you understand what has been identified and how it relates to the issue you are experiencing. Our approach is thorough, focused and designed to ensure nothing important is overlooked.

Step #03

Reporting and next steps

Following the investigation, you will receive a written report detailing our findings, along with supporting images where relevant. This provides a clear record of the condition of the drainage system.

Where rodent ingress is identified, we will explain the available options to prevent further access. This may include targeted repairs, lining or the installation of preventative measures such as non-return valves.

All recommendations are practical and clearly explained, allowing you to choose the most appropriate solution based on your property and priorities. If no issues are found, we will provide clarity so the problem can be investigated elsewhere.
